I spent seven days and nights in a lovely five star hotel and even felt as though I was Julius Caesar, himself, for just one week out of my life. This is one of the delightful things about Rome hotels . There is no other city on this planet that can claim quite as much history as Rome. What’s more, when you’re there; you cannot help but feel that vibe all around you. There are literally hundreds of different sites to explore in the Italian capital. From the Coliseum, which has stood for thousands of years, to plenty of other attractions that date back to the time when the Romans were in charge of much of Europe and Northern Africa. With so many tourists choosing to visit this city each year, you can rest assured that the Rome hotels will have something to suit your tastes and budget. These range from modest, yet comfortable, three star properties; right up to the more exclusive and luxury five star hotels. The other fascinating thing about Rome, is the fact that it also houses the smallest autonomously separate nation in the World - that being the Vatican State. Even though I turned my back on the Catholic Church many years ago, I still found a trip around this amazing tiny state to be an unforgettable one. |
